Feb. 7: Dawn’s a hero

Here’s Dawn’s superhero. She’s The Courageous Spectacled Jones. That doesn’t sound very superhero-ish. It’s kind of like, “Here I am. I’m willing to try to save you.”

I do, however, think the way the laser whip goes through her skirt is neato. I mean, are there special buttonholes (or laserholes) for it to pass through without cutting the fabric? How does she walk without cutting her legs off? I’m so confused, besides being not all that confident in her ability to save me from a supervillian. Don’t worry, Dawn; I still love you but I might call Sheila or Sherilee if I’m in need of a hero.

Hee hee. I said “laserhole.”

Feb. 6: Sheila’s a hero

Sheila’s alter ego is The Talented Twin Bullet:

Looks like her superpower is teaching Jazzercise classes at the mall. Pssst, Sheila, you’re gonna need a more supportive bra when you get to the jumping jacks.

Feb. 6: Me too! Me too!

Everyone’s making super heroes out of themselves. My alter ego is a whip-slashin’ wench. Don’t worry, she only uses her powers for good. Or sometimes evil.

I’m not especially thrilled with the name the Hero Factory chose for me, because “Jones” is such a common name I’m always going to be saying, “No, I’m the other Lasered Jones” and giving my social security number and that sort of thing. Super hero work is kind of a pain sometimes.

Make your own super hero! If you don’t have a blog, e-mail me the image and I’ll post it here.
