Sep. 26: Friday Fill-ins #4

I haven’t done Friday Fill-ins in a while. Here it is.

1. Halloween, cooler weather, and lunch with Sherilee are some of the things I’m most looking forward to in October.
   
2. Sometimes I am a little clumsy. (Just a little).
   
3. Vic agreed to get a cat even though he said he’d never have one in his house and that’s why there is a saying, “never say never”!
   
4. When I’m down, I eat carbs or cut myself (emotionally).
   
5. At my laptop is where you’ll find me most often.
   
6. A rainy day is good for an excuse to curl up with a great book and big cup of coffee.
   
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to catching up with TiVo, tomorrow my plans include dinner at the in-laws and Sunday, I want to go see the special showing of the filmed Broadway production of Rent!

Aug. 1: Friday fill-ins #3

1. If I could travel back in time, I’d go to my freshman year in college and make far fewer stupid decisions.
   
2. Give me liberty or give me bacon.
   
3. I am listening to Jack chewing with his mouth open.
   
4. Somewhere, someone is thinking they’re glad they’re not me.
   
5. I’ll always be my mom’s favorite.
   
6. My idea of a good time includes being surrounded by my favorite people, which (unfortunately) always seems to involve my sister dropping her pants.
   
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to dinner with the Nienhuises at my in-laws, tomorrow my plans include a mostly kid-free day, followed by a birthday party and Sunday, I want to relax... but there’s another birthday party.

July 25: Friday fill-ins #2

I was too busy last week but it’s time again for Friday Fill-ins.

1. I believe whatever doesn’t kill you will probably make you want to kill someone else.
   
2. If you’re good at something, start a blog so you can blab it to the world.
   
3. Why so nonsensical a question?
   
4. Something is out there, it’s watching me while I sleep.
   
5. If my life were a sitcom, it would be titled How Was Your Trip Last Fall? (ha ha ha).
   
6. Sitting on my back porch [if you don’t have one, use your imagination] I see that all my neighbors have much nicer yards than I do.
   
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to sitting on the front porch while K&J play outside, tomorrow my plans include lunch at my in-laws and Trudy’s birthday party and Sunday, I want to go bike-riding (yes, I said bike-riding!).

July 11: Friday Fill-ins #1

Yeah, everyone else is getting their new iPhone today. Not me. Grrr, I say. Very grrr. So even though I’m not busy standing in line somewhere, you’re still getting a meme this morning, just because I am feeling grouchy and resentful.

1. Oh, I can't wait until I have a tropical vacation again.
   
2. Ketchup is the first thing I see when I open my refrigerator. (Don’t know why; it’s just a normal sized bottle.)
   
3. I never leave home without hand sanitizer.
   
4. If I were a condiment, I would be hot sauce because that sounds a lot sexier than ketchup.
   
5. Two spaces between sentences is really high up on my list of pet peeves. (It was really hard to limit this to ONE peeve)
   
6. The last thing I thought of before I went to bed was “I have so much to do tomorrow.”
   
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to painting; tomorrow my plans include painting and Sunday, I want to not still be painting.
