Apr. 23: Why I ♥ volunteering

This is volunteers week in our school district, and because I go on field trips and help out in Katie’s classroom on Thursdays, I’ve gotten lots of “we appreciate you” kinds of goodies. Today Katie brought home a huge pile of papers for me—all notes from her classmates. They’re really very sweet, but also pretty funny, and that’s why I’m sharing them with y’all. Spelling and punctuation are exactly as the kids wrote ‘em.

    ~~~~ Okay, either Caitlin doesn't know you or what I assume your offspring must be like OR you're not doing your job as a mother very well. Your child not evil... puh-lease!
  2. Actually, Chris, Katie is not yet pure evil. I'm working on her though. I don't think my evil fully set in until I was in high school, so she's got a little wiggle room before I start getting concerned she might end up good. I refuse to raise a saint!
