I just got an email announcing the 2010/11 Broadway in Portland series. Here’s the lineup:
- South Pacific, August 3-8, 2010
Burn the Floor, September 7-12, 2010
- In the Heights, October 19-24, 2010
- Hair, December 28, 2010 – January 2, 2011
- Billy Elliott: The Musical, April 5-24, 2011
- Disney’s Mary Poppins, June 22 – July 10, 2011
So… we’re not sure if we’re going to renew for next season. Usually there are at least two shows in the package we’re DYING to see, and while there are a few here that I wouldn’t mind seeing, there’s nothing that stands out as ★spectacular.★ We’ve got some time to decide before we have to surrender our seats.
I would see Mary Poppins for sure but that's the only one that was calling out to me - our local theater is doing Wicked this fall and you know I need to be seeing that!
ReplyDeleteJen E, I'd like to see Mary Poppins too. We're talking about getting our season tickets again, but selling the ones we don't care about at face value, at least to keep our seats and still have an excuse for Date Night. :)
