I'm always looking for innovative and easy ways to de-clutter. I got some useful information from this article by Martha Stewart, recently published in her new-ish magazine, Blueprint: "100 Reasons to Get Rid of It." The article could probably be called "100 WAYS to Get Rid of It" because of all the web sites she lists where you can donate or sell your clutter.
