Oct. 17: Good humor guys

McCain and Obama spoke at a charity dinner in New York City last night and collectively brought the house down. Both of these videos are must-see.

My favorite bits: the Keith Olbermann stuff from McCain and the “October surprises” from Obama. I was especially impressed with McCain’s comments about Obama. Both candidates have superb speech writers to come up with this level of comedy at a time like this.

  1. I was LMAO at this, until Kim told me to shut the hell up because I was drowning out the movie she was trying to watch.

McCain said some very gracious things about Obama, which enabled me to think that he's slightly less of a "male appendage" than he's shown himself to be during this election and that maybe he can be somewhat gracious when he gets his ass handed to him on a plate (I hope) in a couple of weeks.

  2. lmao those were brilliant - thanks for sharing because I was literally about to go track those down when I saw you'd posted - you saved me a search, which is always nice!

I really loved what Obama said about his middle name - being picked by someone who obviously never thought he'd run for president - that made me laugh hard!

  3. Kudos to them both for dishing it out and taking it too. If I didn't know better, I'd think they actually kind of liked/respected each other.

  4. Everyone will be just fine in a couple weeks - except the one that goes "WAAA-AAA, I want a recount. WAAA-AAA."
