Kim F’n tagged me on this meme on Facebook today. I’m pretty sure I’ve done it before but I don’t want to be one of those lame not-playing-along friends so I’m answering it anyway.

- What is your occupation right now? I guess “programmer” is the best description these days.
- What color are your socks right now? Not wearing any.
- What are you listening to right now? One of the dogs eating. Geez, she’s loud.
- What was the last thing that you ate? About 12 Otter Pops. Hey, it’s hot outside! And they’re the little ones. If they were the big ones I probably would’ve eaten only… ten.
- Can you drive a stick shift? I can, but I choose not to. I need all the hands I’ve got for my coffee, lipstick, and phone.
- Last person you spoke to on the phone? My mother-in-law.
- Do you like the person who sent this to you? Like her, yes. LOVE her—completely!
- How old are you today? Forty, and that’s the second time I’ve been asked today. What gives?
- What is your favorite sport to watch on TV? Women’s beach volleyball. Heh heh.
- What is your favorite drink? Iced tea. If we’re talking “drink” drink, it’d be almost anything with Midori in it.
- Have you ever dyed your hair? I’m 40 and have young children. Therein lies your answer.
- Favorite food? Filet mignon or Kraft Mac & Cheese. I’m a paradox.
- What is the last movie you watched? In a theater, Up—we saw it for the third time last Friday night. On TV, I watched the last half of Enchanted today.
- Favorite day of the year? Christmas Day.
- How do you vent anger? I curse like a sailor.
- What was your favorite toy as a child? Probably a doll. I was a total girly-girl. Blech.
- What is your favorite season? Spring, especially west of the Cascades—everything is newly green and blooming.
- Cherries or blueberries? I hate cherries, so blueberries it is.
- Living arrangements? I live with my husband and our 2.5 children.
- When was the last time you cried? Yesterday. It was over something really lame so I’m not going to go into detail but suffice it to say The Loveliest Lori would never let me forget it if she knew.
- What is on the floor of your closet? Dirty clothes and shoes.
- What did you do last night? I can’t remember. It was a long time ago.
- What are you most afraid of? Middle-of-the-night phone calls.
- Plain, cheese, or spicy hamburgers? Cheese. With extra bacon, please.
- What is your favorite kind of dog? Arooooooo! Beagle.
- Favorite day of the week? Saturday.
- How many states have you lived in? Two—Oregon and Washington.
- Diamonds or pearls? Diamonds, and the more the better.
- What is your favorite flower? Gerbera daisy.
- What is your favorite song? This week it’s “Take Me or Leave Me” (The Lumberjack Song) from the Rent soundtrack. LOUD.
- What is your pet peeve? Mean people.
